Duties:

Responsibilities will also include tidying up after the children, doing their laundry, making appointments for them, and organizing their closets. Cooking for the whole family is appreciated, but not required. Date night care once a week that requires putting the younger two boys to bed.
Other errands may include grocery shopping, washing dishes, and putting away the boys’ things. This family is also requesting pet care consisting of occasional walks and dropping the dog off at the groomer or daycare.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this home is energetic, creative, reliable, likes children and is patient. Someone who is able to scan the environment and situation, see what is needed and jump in. Whether this is to notice what items need putting away, or to jump in to help put sunscreen on a kid, etc. This family is seeking someone who is confident to make decisions. The parents would like the boys to take on more responsibility and want a nanny who helps that process. Sometimes she will have to do tasks for them but ideally she would be encouraging them to be more independent with her guidance and reminders/ collaborative help.
Someone who can be flexible and is willing to adapt as needed when the boys' schedules change according to school vacations, different sports seasons, etc. The family is looking for someone who enjoys different activities, such as going on walks, making artwork, going on outings to the library, Yestercades, museums, taking kids to the dentist and other appointments, playdates, etc.
This family also has their own pool, and the candidate should be comfortable swimming if needed. While the family appreciates more education, this family’s priority is the right personality and best fit for the home.
About the children:
The 15-year-old is intelligent, mature, has a great sense of humor, is calm and is sometimes described as an old soul. He loves math, sailing, playing instruments and speaking French. He’s also interested in soccer and traveling, and is starting model Congress at school this year. After school he goes to various school events and activities like sailing, fencing, and music.
This 11-year-old is creative-minded, sensitive, curious and adventuresome. He loves to explore, bike into town with his friends, cook, build and he’s an avid reader. He enjoys science, math, and art, and also goes to fencing and music, as well as art and French after school. He has ADHD and does best with people who are patient and caring who take time to get to know him.
The 7-year-old is always happy, energetic, kind-hearted, considerate, and helpful. He loves math and sports and, like his brothers, goes to music, French and fencing after school. He also goes to soccer and baseball.
About the parents:

Benefits:
Salary plus paid vacation days off, paid holidays off, paid sick days off, and paid personal days off.
The family may occasionally give additional gestures of appreciation over time.
